In Year Application Information
Moving schools at any point between Year R and Year 6 is called an ‘In-Year’ admission.
Please visit the Southampton City Council website www.southampton.gov.uk/schools-learning/find-school/apply-school/in-year-transfer.aspx and click on ‘make an in-year application’. You will then be able to register and log on to their on-line system.
Alternatively, please speak to Mel Saunders (School Admissions Officer) on 023 8026 9722/admissions@hispmat.org who will be able to provide you with the application form to complete. All paper applications need to be returned directly to Tanners Brook Primary School.
Paper copies are also available for collection from the school reception.
Parents will be notified with the outcome of their application within 10 school days.
All parents have the right to appeal to an independent appeal panel against the decision not to admit their child to Tanners Brook Primary School. If you would like to appeal against this decision, please visit http://www.southampton.gov.uk/schoolappeals to complete the online appeal form.

All In Year applications for Tanners Brook Primary School are processed from a central office based at Thornden School.
